Vintage red Silhouette M1188 C2882 frame with a pair of brown gradient lenses. Silhouette was founded in 1964 in Linz, Austria by optical instrument manufacturer Arnold Schmid and his wife Annelise (both born 1925). As a later slogan put it, they wanted customers to "love wearing glasses." They started this endeavor with a female designer, Dora Demmel, and five employees, selling to four countries, but two years later they were shipping to most of Western Europe.
Our collection features high quality designer eyewear and haute couture eyewear. Some of these great vintage brands have completely disappeared from the world. And while they may not be made anymore, we think they are all works of art.

Delivery
We generally mail our products with the "Nova Poshta" (shipping outside of Ukraine is sent by "airmail"). When placing an order, it is possible to enter an address for the delivery of couriers by mail " Nova Poshta " in Ukraine. For worldwide shipments we offer a choice of national mail services Ukrposhta or DHL, UPS. If you need express delivery, let us know and we will calculate the cost.
Payment
We accept Visa or MasterCard through Wayforpay secure payment system. Money is debited from the account only if the transaction is successfully completed, and a confirmation letter is sent to the email address. You can pay in cash upon delivery of the goods in Kiev, at the Nova Poshta" branch, or in the case of pickup in cash or by card.
