Cartier Romance Louis M

Cartier Romance Louis M medium size, luxurious frame in classic style, made of gold. The temples are replaced in the original color, the nose pads are original, the lenses are new, there are traces of soldering on the bridge (shown in the photo). Overall the glasses have been restored and are in excellent vintage condition.

The first Cartier frame appeared in 1897. She looked luxurious and sophisticated. The frames of those times were made of precious metals and were encrusted with diamonds.

Today, Cartier frames remain a sign of wealth and luxury, although they have changed in the past century. However, modernist and futuristic trends failed to influence the style as a whole, they began to be made from more accessible materials. For example, the temples use the Flex-system, a complex spring structure that can be used to open the temples by more than 100°. That is, it is impossible to accidentally break or deform the frame.
