Cartier Aurore

Cartier Aurore luxury frame in a classic style, made in the color of a tortoise shell, period from the 80s. This model has one defect - green oxidation of metal under the left temple (seen in the photo), otherwise excellent condition. Like all Cartier vintage frames, the Aurore is plated with 22 carat gold.

The first Cartier frames appeared in 1897. She looked luxurious and sophisticated. The frames of those times were made of precious metals and were inlaid with diamonds.

Today, Cartier frames remain a sign of wealth and luxury, although they have changed in the past century. However, modernist and futuristic trends did not manage to influence the style as a whole, they began to be made from more affordable materials. For example, in the temples the Flex-system is used - a complex spring structure with which you can open the temples by more than 100 °. That is, it is impossible to accidentally break or deform the frame.
