The Boeing Collection by Carrera 5701 40 is a vintage Carrera Boeing Collection 5701. In recent years, this frame has been spotted on Hollywood celebrities, including Al Pacino, who combine shiny gold-plated frames with Carrera amber optile lenses for a look that is difficult surpass.
A branding joint venture between Boeing and Carrera produced several excellent sunglasses in the 1990s that combined the design expertise of both companies in styles that exude speed and performance. You will find the Boeing Carrera logo imprinted on the outside of both earhooks, and the inside of one earbud is marked "Made in Austria" 5701 40 plus a printed serial number, and the inside of the other is marked "Boeing Collection By Carrera".
The internal lettering is not so clear anymore, but the lenses and other parts are in very good condition.
